Reihonna Frost-Calhoun received her PhD in clinical psychology from Clark University. She completed her APA accredited internship and her postdoctoral fellowship at the Yale School of Medicine where she used trauma-informed treatments with children, families, and young adults who experienced child welfare involvement and the foster care system. Her research interests include adoption, foster care, and child welfare system experiences from multiple perspectives (e.g., adoptive families, biological families, foster and adopted youth, and adult former foster youth) and with diverse populations (e.g., LGBTQIA families and youth, transracial adoptive families). She is also interested in sibling relationships within these contexts. Dr. Frost-Calhoun is interested in collaborating with students on research projects related to foster care, adoption, LGBTQIA families, or sibling relationships. She teaches a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses, including Introductory Psychology, Theories of Psychotherapy, and Internship Seminar. In her free time, she enjoys the WNBA, crafting, board games, outdoor adventures with her wife, and hanging out with her cats.
